Ingredients
1lbground lamb
2tbspparsleychopped
1tbspdillchopped
1tbspolive oil
1tspgarlicgrated or minced
1/2tspthymechopped
1/2tspmintchopped
1/2tspsalt
1/2tspblack pepper
1/4tspcumin
6burger buns
Lettuceoptional
Tomatooptional
Onionoptional
Tzatziki Sauce
1cupgreek whole milk yogurtplain
1/2cupcucumbergrated and drained
1tbspdillchopped
1tbsplemon juice
1tspgarlicgrated or minced
1/2tspthymechopped
1/4tspsalt
1/4tspblack pepper
Pinchof sugar
Instructions
Tzatziki Sauce
In a bowl add in all the tzatziki sauce ingredients.
Mix thoroughly, cover and refrigerate until ready to use. Should hold in the refrigerator for 4-5 days.
Lamb Smash Burger
Combine all lamb smash burger ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Form into golf ball size rounds. Should get about 6 meat balls out of the mixture. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.
Heat up a cast iron pan over medium heat.
Add in your lamb meat balls and press down firmly to spread out.
Cook on each side for 3-4 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
Serve on a toasted bun with lettuce, tomato, onion and the tzatziki sauce.
