Ingredients

Shrimp Marinade

  • 1-1 /12 lbs jumbo shrimp shelled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic minced
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika

Other Ingredients

  • 1 lb linguine cooked
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup parsley freshly chopped
  • 1/4 cup shallots chopped
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp garlic sliced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Olive oil for cooking

Garnish

  • 2 tbsp parsley freshly chopped
  • 2 tbsp parmesan cheese freshly grated

Instructions

Shrimp Marinade

  • In a bowl add all ingredients listed under “Shrimp Marinade” and mix until thoroughly combined.

Assemble

  • In a large pan over medium heat, sear the marinated shrimp on both sides until golden brown and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add unsalted butter, shallots, sliced garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook for a few minutes until the garlic becomes fragrant.
  • Then, add in white wine, lemon juice and parsley. Cook 4-5 minutes and reduce slightly. This will allow the alcohol to cook out and deepen the flavor.
  • Next, add the heavy cream and season with salt and pepper.
  • Allow to cook until the sauce has thickened.
  • Then, add in the cooked linguine and mix until pasta is coated.
  • Return shrimp to the pan and top with parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
  • Serve immediately.
  • Enjoy!
